Announcing Summer Series 2026

Summer Series

June 9, 2026

D.C. interns and junior staff, this one’s for you.

Across the Aisle is back with our annual Summer Series at the Waldorf Astoria this June and July, featuring conversations with leaders in politics, media, and culture.

Our theme is “The Next 250: What Will Leadership Look Like As America Works Toward its 500th Birthday?” To explore that question, we’re hosting the following panels and fireside chats:

  • June 18: The Future of News in a Social Media World, featuring Content Creators Maria Comstock, Cory Bradford, and Ethan Kelly, followed by a reception.
  • June 25: In Conversation with SNL’s Kenan Thompson, followed by a three-course dinner.
  • July 7: The Debt Escape Room: Can You Do Better Than Congress?, followed by a reception.
  • July 16: In Conversation with Former Senator Joe Manchin and 53rd Speaker of the House John Boehner, followed by a three-course dinner.
  • July 22: Farewell to Summer Reception, featuring a surprise guest, followed by a reception.

So come raise a glass to America’s 250th birthday and start preparing for what comes next. This is your chance to learn about the challenges facing America, network with tomorrow’s changemakers, and jumpstart your career in public service.

Open exclusively to interns and recent college graduates, these events are provided free of charge for all attendees.

Dinner and drinks are included, and tickets will be released one week before each event.
